So, Merry Christmas and. . . . .

Myspace Graphics

Yes yes, it's true. We are expecting to add another to our family and we are so excited! And thanks to my pregnancy insomnia and not being able to sleep, I am writing this at 5:15 on Christmas morning. . . . The sickness has been so much worse this time around as well as not being able to sleep well! But when I do sleep it's like 12 hours a day. So weird because I was NEVER like this with Giovanni. Plus, most the time, I am an Ogre. So, I'm really really excited to get this first trimester over with because it's not been pleasant for myself or anyone around me:)That also explains where my brain has been this past month, ha ha. I am 10 weeks along and my due date is July 24th. As far as gender goes, I swear I don't care what it is. We have 2 boys already so I'm used to the boy stuff, but a girl would be great too. We'll keep you updated and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Dummy

I've been such a space case lately. So pretty much everything I said we would do this week as a family we did. The only thing that was missing the our camera at every single freaking event.
-The Ogden Lights were awesome but it was so dang cold. We went Monday night with our friends the Izatt's. We got there fairly late for little kids so we ended up leaving early because the boys were just done:) We'll go earlier next year.
- I didn't do the gingerbread house but we did decorate cookies. They loved it and had a good time with that.
- Wednesday, we went to the A Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey. Well, for being a Disney movie, it was pretty dark. Marcelino said it was scary after we watched the whole thing but the graphics were good and we enjoyed our night out as a family.
- Tuesday during the day, I took the boys to a hill in Kaysville and we went sledding! They had so much fun! Marcelino is such a dare devil! I tried to teach him to go down on the saucer cross-legged and sitting up but he tried that once and decided face first on his stomach was funner. Giovanni enjoyed his first time sledding. He mainly sat on my lap and enjoyed the ride. I sent him down a little of the hill once by himself and he freaked out but he did pretty good for his first time.
-Thursday we had some friends over for a small Christmas dinner and it was such a good time. But again, I forgot the camera. (i don't know where my memory is lately)

This is the only picture I got on my phone of the boys sledding! They had such good time and I want to go again when it snows.

Excuses. . . .

So, here is my biggest excuse for not staying up on everything that is going on in our lives. . . . internet connection! Blah. We don't have internet on a regular basis at our house right now so I apologize for not keeping everyone in the loop. So, since my last post, we've had a few things happen and change in our lives:)
1. Thanksgiving was great! Went to Las Vegas to my brother-in-laws with everyone. It was great. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
2. Marcelino is now living with us full-time:) We are taking this whole thing for a trial run, but it was a joint decision between the 4 of us (both sets of parents)and it seems like he's much better all around so we'll see if it turns into a permanent thing:) Either way, it's been wonderful while we've had him.
3. The boys have matching gashes on thier foreheads/noses. Giovanni first got his playing somehow and Marcelino was running in circles until he got dizzy and hit the bridge of his nose on the coffee table. They look so funny.
4. The boys are OBSESSED with Home Alone 1 and Home Alone 2. Oh My Freak! In the past 10 days, I think we've watched each one at least 25 times. No joke.
5. Also, when you have boys, never show them the classic movie that came out when we were kids, "3 Ninjas." The 3 brothers who learn to be ninjas by thier grandpa. . . . ya. bad idea. Now they just run around making "haiyaa" noises and hit/kick each other. Worst idea I ever had.
6. As far as Chuck and I are concerned, we're doing good. When you're a parent you know it's all about the kids. We love the time we spend with the boys, but are happy to be on a schedule and look forward to bed time so we can finally have 5 minutes alone.

Hopefully here's what you can expect from me in the next week.
- ogden lights
- gingerbread houses
- review on the new christmas carol movie with jim carrey
- snow play with the boys (if i'm up to it)

Thanks for reading a non-picture, considerably boring update.

"Nomas" Undies

We have now moved to "big boy" underwear for Giovanni! Yay! He is so excited to wear his Thomas (he calls him Nomas) underwear. He gets so upset when he has an accident and doesn't get to wear them for the rest of the day. I didn't realize that Nomas would be such a good motivator for him! Please please please watch the video if you have time (1:46 min)- This was his first day wearing his Thomas undies and he was SO HAPPY but couldn't figure out how to look at Nomas while he was wearing them:)
